CrossFit 908 – Membership Policy

No Rollover Classes – Upon expiration of any membership, all unused classes EXPIRE, and do not carry over to a new membership. It is true what they say, if you don’t use it, you lose it.

Membership Hold – Work, a short vacation, and being busy are not valid reasons for an extension of membership. Injury, moving, or an extended absence from the gym are viable reasons to seek an extension of membership. If you know you will not be able to make it to the gym for more than 14-days, we will be glad to put your membership on hold. You must tell us in advance. There are no retroactive holds allowed.

Automatic Membership Renewal – Your membership renews the date that ZenPlanner lists it expiring. So, a membership from Jan 1 to Feb 1, renews on Feb 1. Your credit card will be charged on Feb 1, unless we are advised PRIOR to this date. Not the day after, or even the same day. This goes for all memberships, including 3-month, 6-month, and 1-year. It is your job to monitor your membership and know when it is supposed to renew.

Renewal Date – Picking the date you want your membership to renew is not an option unless it is more than 14-days after your current membership expires. i.e. If your membership expires on a Tuesday, and you will be gone on business or vacation from Wednesday through Sunday, and won’t return to the gym until Monday, your membership STILL renews on the previous Tuesday. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you cannot deal with automatic renewal, please purchase a punch-card. The best real life example I can give to support this is your mortgage or rent. You don’t get a break when you go away on vacation. We are a membership based gym. You either have one, or you don’t. I apologize for this seeming harsh, but it is imperative that membership be automated so that efforts can be focused elsewhere. (i.e. coaching / programming / 908 events / etc)

Canceling / Changing a Membership – This can be done anytime up until the day before your membership is set to expire. This can not be done retroactively past your renewal date. Please email us regarding the change. Please do not purchase a different membership, as many time it leads to duplicate memberships.

Refunds – There are significant fees associated with accepting credit cards, and even larger fees associated with refunding money. Any refunds will be subject to a 5% fee due to the credit card processing fees we are incur on both sides of the transaction.
